Absolutely. Every industry niche and size can benefit from the right kind of marketing! It is a great way show credibility, to build customer loyalty, and communicate/engage with your audience.

Inbound marketing is a trip around the world, not a walk down the street. Even pieces of content that rightfully deserve the #1 spot take time to climb the rankings. For all aspects of inbound marketing almost nothing is immediate, nor should it be. Similar to the process of building trust towards strangers or new co-workers, inbound marketing requires an enormous amount of trust from your audience. It’s the backbone of any solid marketing strategy.

Content marketing uses blogs, podcasts, video, and social media sites as a vehicle. A successful piece of content that is posted on these platforms is one that ranks well, is shared widely, and is engaging.  The content must be original, thought-provoking, helpful, and have strong headlines/meanings.

Each week Elite creates content and sends it to you for reviewing. If you buy a package that includes revisions, we will happily revise to your preference. After we receive your confirmation, content will be scheduled to post to your social media sites for the following week.

More important than understanding what content marketing is, is understanding why content marketing is important for your business. First, we need to understand the four steps of the buying cycle. Josh Steimle from the article, What Is Content Marketing?, describes it best as:

  1. Prior to awareness a customer may have a need, but they are not aware there is a solution.
  2. Research.Once a customer is aware there is a solution, they will perform research to educate themselves.
  3. At this point the customer starts comparing different products from different vendors to make sure they’re getting a high-quality product at a fair price.
  4. Finally, the customer makes their decision and moves forward with the transaction.

Content marketing successfully taps into the first two stages of the buying process by raising awareness of solutions and educating consumers about a product they may have never considered before.  It provides additional content for social media marketing and contributes to SEO efforts by generating natural links and building up viable content on your website that gets found in search engines. For many companies the bulk of their SEO efforts should be focused on content marketing.
